The Bird and The Bee’s debut records, Again and Again and Again and Again, is one of our favorite kind of records - a collection of really pretty songs we can just listen to on repeat all day while we work.
A duo from Los Angeles made up of producer/musician Greg Kurstin and chanteuse Inara George, The Bird and The Bee describe their sound as “A futuristic 1960’s American film set in Brazil.”
We’d describe it as the kind of music Norah Jones would make if she were cool!
The self-titled track off the record, Again & Again, is one of those unassuming songs that just creeps up on you three hours later and you can’t stop singing the deceptively simple yet catchy hook.
This is perfect with a vodka lemonade served outside on a blanket with a really sexy person you can occasionally make out with.
