After a trouble-plagued year, Amy Winehouse is canceling all her remaining live and promotional appearances, citing doctors orders and saying how she can’t perform without her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, at her side.

“I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake,” Amy Winehouse wrote on her official site. “I’m sorry, but I don’t want to do shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”

Blake Fielder-Civil was jailed and is being held without bail after allegedly trying to bribe a witness in his trial on assault charges stemming from a 2006 fight.

The decision of Amy Winehouse, 24, to cancel all shows comes “on the instruction of her doctor,” according to a statement released by her record label:

“The rigours involved in touring and the emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll. In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her issues.”

No Tour

Earlier this month, at her first show since Fielder-Civil, 25, was busted, Amy Winehouse delivered a shaky performance, was booed and stormed off stage.

The cancellations cap off a rather turbulent year for the singer. She married Blake Fielder-Civil in May after being engaged only a few months, then struggled through a brutal series of health and myriad substance-abuse issues.

In August, Amy was hospitalized and treated for exhaustion, canceled a number of tour dates and checked into a “retreat” with Fielder-Civil.

In October, she was arrested in Norway on a charge of marijuana possession, paid a fine but appealed it, saying she had not understood the charges.
